Ms. Davidson has over 35 years of business and management business starting with Davidson Partners Brokers (Toronto), in 1972. She is an alumnus of the University of Manitoba and UC Berkeley with courses in Architecture, Business and Finance.
She has been involved in many small high tech start ups throughout the years in both Canada and the US and has used her expertise to source, purchase and install cutting edge high tech equipment across a wide range of industries and advance high tech usage in companies around the world.
Currently, as President of Venture Planet LLC, Ms. Davidson is working to fund a number of significant projects around the world in cooperation with several high profile partners. She strives to use her substantial contacts to create partnerships and collaborations among nascent companies to build value in the marketplace. In addition to Venture Planet LLC, Janet owns and operates DuoCom Technical Consulting, a boutique consulting company focused on the monetization and commercialization of technical innovation.
Michael Tobias
Michael Tobias brings over thirty years of experience to Venture Planet. With a degree in engineering, he has worked in private industry, the US Government, and has owned several companies. He is also a retired US Navy officer. Focusing now on his business and venture capital brokerage, he can speak knowledgably to anyone about the needs of almost any industry. Michael is married with four children and spends his free time on his boat in Seattle’s Lake Union.
Jane Boyles
Jane Boyles is a recognized leader in buying, selling and restructuring business, bringing over 30 years of experience in business management, marketing, financial oversight, consulting and mergers. She has been instrumental in assisting all types of industries, from the largest corporate structure to the smallest one-owner/operator business, in their needs to expand, market, sale, restructure and merge their businesses.
Coming from a business owner background in the financial and insurance field, she understands the practical side necessary to make successful business mergers and acquisitions as well as brokering changes in businesses. During her career, Ms. Boyles has worked with clients in the medical, entertainment, gaming, publishing, computer, retail, non-profit organizations, homeland security and television, radio and movie industries.
She attended Augusta College, Aiken Technical College and University of South Carolina and holds Real Estate License in Georgia and South Carolina.
